Minor Slowdown
Added 2024-07-04 22:20:29 +0000 UTCI don’t want to make a huge deal of it because it doesn’t affect me personally that much but I’m just saying that I’ll be taking today and sometime next week off. There was a death in my family and there‘ll be a funeral when the body arrives presumably next Friday. I’m okay, this was a very, very long time coming and they’d been sick for years so you know how it is.
it hasn’t really affected my mood or my work one way or the other but I felt I should at least say something. Next chapter still only a few days out because it’s a shorter one.

The end of suffering seems to be what most of my family is focusing on, yeah. My aunt was a severe diabetic. Had to get some fingers amputated, all of her toes, couldn’t leave the bed, heart problems, pretty much everything that can go wrong to you as a diabetic did go wrong to her. So, yeah. It’s not wrong to look at it like that.

We are currently juuuuust about to cross 100k words so I think we are around the halfway point. I have an ending I’m working towards in mind but I can’t say how many more chapters specifically.

And while a death in the family sucks....the end of someone's pain and suffering is also a sort of celebration in my mind.
