Just letting you guys know where I’m at right now. Chapter 3 of WWYK Is coming along very strong but these chapters are longer than I usually do. That’s why it’s taking like 3 to 4 days for each one. My goal was to make this volume around 40,000 words and so far I’m on track for that, but that means each chapter is roughly 10,000 words all on its own. I have been averaging around 3000 these days, sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less, but it’s coming along smooth.

Right now I am almost at the 10,000 mark for chapter 3 and it will probably stretch a few thousand more than that so I’m guessing it will be finished tomorrow, but I don’t know if I will feel like editing it straight away. Chapter 4 should be a lot faster to get through. 3 is one huge sex scene and while I think it was very exciting to write, it was kind of a slog to get through. I might alter my plans and not have a huge dedicated sex scene chapter in every volume and instead work in several throughout. I already did that in chapter 1 and I think that went better than this one.

Either way, we are looking at a release date of next week if I had to guess. Very exciting to be able to release another product so soon! My sales have been doing well, and my goal remains the same, to keep pumping out shorter stories so that I can build up enough recurring revenue to not have to worry about money when I’m working on bigger stories like Coye and such. People are going and reading Coye a lot after finishing WWYK, so that has definitely been a big help as well.
