Amazon Policy Changes Are Kinda Scary

If any of you guys follow the haremlit community you might've already heard that they're enforcing a new policy where you have to lable your books as erotica instead of setting the reading age limit at 18+. Apparently doing so will make it so your books aren't recommended anymore and they're much harder to search for in Amazon's search engine. Given that a lot of us author's income comes from people stumbling onto our books through recommended and related suggestions, I'm pretty scared about what this'll do to my bottom line. We don't know if it's always going to be so strict, if it's just teething problems as they work out the kinks to their new system, or what.

In retrospect it's probably a good idea I had to forcibly shelve WGL and BM for the time being because it seems like the worst possible time to launch a new series imaginable. Wasting months of work on one book at the moment only to get like 30% of usual sales isn't a great. I'm going to monitor the situation as it unfolds while working on Write What You Know, since with smaller releases I can at least advertise my work in applicable subreddits more often and build a bigger name for myself.

I'm trying not to be overly stressed about it but I am a little worried in light of everything else going on in life lately. All I can really do is watch and see what happens.
