She did not want to be chattel, but couldn't overtly kill her husband or brother, so she went to the Black Library, was able to do a new ritual that dispelled the soul via contagion, and now wants to rule from the shadows. Only works in Albion since it is tied to the leylines.

While that curse was impressive, the amount of times it would need to be repeatedly used to kill the entire male population of Wizarding Britain would be ridiculous, not to mention the time needed to be put in to obtaining the sympathetic links. They would need to be repeating the ritual as shown basically non stop to get them all in the timeframe they did. I'm suspecting either an organised cabal of like minded misandrists rather than an individual tbh with what we saw just being the leader or that this was a red herring and what was shown wasn't how the other Lords were killed.
