Yeah, he's not a stickler re: honour as a restriction on conduct - his life as a slave has tainted his views on THAT topic - but Depa more than understanding the struggle against attachment due to knowing her family and losing them violently to pirates (her parents) and the Separatists (her sister) means he can connect to her and use her reasons for Falling to win her over.

I can see him do terrible things , by his new standarts, to archive his goals while justifying them with "for the greater good", but she with hr being ll about honnor, could searve as someone who will remind him of what is honnorable. Maybe he will do it anyway, but at least, he will not slide to deep into it, as he has someone to warn him. He will always knw when he crosses a boundary and as such will be more carefull about his actions.
