Interestingly, seeing as how most fallen Jedi assume that the Dark Side will make them inherently stronger, I suspect that both options here will have the same result. This might be her first real fight since falling and if Vader completely dismantles her, especially if she faced him before as Anakin and did noticeably better than she is now, that frustration will also tip her over the edge.

2025-09-26 09:30:13 +0000 UTCWell, if you're going to try and draw out someone's darkness who regularly dances around with the Dark Side, then the best way is obviously to make them careen right over the damn edge. No better way to do that then by toying with her. Her inherent darkness and the indignity of a 'Jedi Knight' easily deflecting her attacks will no doubt make her explode. Also, thank the Force that Anakin managed to find the ONE Fallen Jedi on the Council. Glad that's over and done with!

2025-09-25 11:04:51 +0000 UTCAhhh...so this timeline is leaning towards Legends canon for Depa's status as Fallen, rather than her dying bravely (and still in the Light) to allow Caleb Dume/Kanan Jarrus to escape from Order 66? Interesting...though logical if Vader is going to collect a harem of Fallen female Jedi throughout this story. Really curious to see what Depa's justification for falling to the Dark Side is...less this timeline had the future Kanan Jarrus die off-screen during a battle and Depa didn't handle losing her Apprentice well. Or if Depa was/is the order's liaison to the Senate...is Vader going to discover that he has an ally in any future plans for gutting and/or restructuring the Senate because Master Bilaba thinks the vast majority of senators deserve to go to the pyre for how corrupt and callous they are?
