She is not insane and she schemes primarily against her Father because he is removing her from succession (she doesn't have the full story but still) and Dorne has a history of equal inheritance. She is entitled to fight for her right to inherit. She talks of seduction because one it's a cultural thing (both westerosi and Dornish) and two it's the only weapon most women are allowed to wield, ironically, without much judgment. Three- she has no horrible vendetta against Axel and his house, all she really wants is Lorch and The mountain. As for power, of course she wants it, but so does everyone in a similar position, even Sansa. The only difference between them and Renly is that they want socially acceptable and legally attainable power and have done nothing to fudge the chances in their favour, whereas renly has tried assassination, bribery, intimidation, and fabrication all while ignoring that even if all of that worked or was even true, Stannis would still be the rightful king. I'm just not getting how people are seeing Arianne as Cersei junior?

It actually looks like she could be likable here, skipping over the naive, obnoxious, whiny personality of season 1 and the arrogant, stupid, entitled personality of seasons 7 and 8. Looking forward to see how that all works out and how Catelyn finds a way to ruin it. Arianne will be interesting, but like others have said, she's bound to be very manipulative so despite her beauty I doubt she'll get wife spot number 1 (assuming Axel works something out with the Faith like 7 wives for the Seven because extraordinary precedent).

2025-06-29 09:43:53 +0000 UTCAt this point Arianne Martell has been into multiple trysts with her multiple lovers. As much as I hate the Starks, Sansa would be no doubt the better option of the two. Margaery is still my pick, hopefully our MC can see her charms. Myrcella would’ve been great, but our MC sees her as a ‘sibling’.

2025-06-28 23:28:32 +0000 UTCIm happy ro see a more mature Sansa then we got at the start of cannon, though that's likely cause she's been aged up. Honestly, as both have been presented in this story so far, I'm torn on who should be queen. Sansa would likely be the better political choice, but i don't see her approving of Axel taking other lovers....unless he utterly wears her out and she admits to needing help lol. Arianne would probably encourage Axel to take other lovers as long as they share, but would have to deal with the scheming of her father and uncle.....aside from that, I'm really hoping Baelish messes up soon, perhaps when Catelyn is present so that she can see his wrongs and not matyrize him as if seen happen in some fanfictions
