I don't usually do fan art, but I was inspired rereading Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir. The quoted review on the cover of the book says, "Lesbian necromancers explore a haunted gothic palace in space!" which frankly sells the book pretty well.
It's not a porn book, I wish it was (but that's what AO3 is for after all). But the pool scene in particular is so evocative, and conjures up such sexy imagery, that I couldn't help but create a whole "mini scene".
Gideon, the irreverent knight servant and her powerful necromancer Harrowhark the Reverend Daughter of the Ninth House, have gone to the desolate planet of the First House to compete in a mysterious and deadly competition against the necromancers of the other Houses.
