Input Method

(uncensored version is attached)

It's important to test all input and output systems to determine the most efficient modes of operation. Dexy is the navigator and computer expert on the ship, so she needs to stay on top of these things!

(I hope this image doesn't cause you guys to OVERHEAT! >_< I know there are so many major heat waves going on, I hope everybody's staying properly chilled and hydrated!)

I had a QHD version of this but it didn't turn out looking very nice so this one is 1080 HD only. The darker lighting in the computer core room makes it come out very grainy - but as a Nabri, Dexy is better adapted for dim lighting, so her area on the ship should be a little gloomy. Much longer render times would solve the problem - I don't usually like to let a rendering process run for longer than a couple of hours, but it'll be okay for the finished product.

I'm still working on the *playable demo* but it's not in a demo-able state right now. In game development I've heard of the concept of a "minimum viable product" and I'm still not 100% sure what that is, like, does it have a mini little bit of everything that will be in the final version? Or does it have only the absolute core basics? Maybe I need that kind of laser beam focus! Anyway, I'm not an expert at coding, but it's coming along! ^_^

Oh, that makes a lot of sense! ...I know this now after so many years. >_<

If you are not charging for it, to me MVP would be whatever you feel conveys what you want the finished project to be. What you did with the demo SFK 2 all those years ago is an example. I ran it, and have been a fan ever since.

Yay Galaxy 😄. MVP is the minimum version of an application that lets you do something useful, and can then be extended with additional features. So for SFK an MVP could have been the working map, with a single story - Nowhere near complete, but still useful.
