Thousand Hands of Relief Basic Premise

This is just a quick overview of the spinoff’s main idea before I post some of the character bios I’ve written. As I’ve said, this story will take place in Imperalis- primarily the poorer districts and the shantytown (North and South Scroungetown) outside of its walls. The main character is a 22 y/o human by the name of Rinzer Vosk. He is a silver-rank adventurer coming from South Scroungetown who works hard and spends all of his good improving his community and the lives of the people who live in it. Unlike Coye, he and his childhood friend/partner, a thief girl named Nellie Holcott, they aren’t the ‘go out and slay a monster off the board’ type. They either dungeon dive or handle menial requests.

The central conflict is that Rinzer is the type who overworks himself, thinking he’s never doing enough despite devoting himself to charity. Nellie hates seeing him do this to himself and eventually forces him into doing some self care on himself. She gets him to visit a really remote, hidden massage parlor by the name of Thousand Hands.

Thousand Hands is owned by a seemingly disinterested, jaded and sardonic kitsune from the realm of Ikkuni, and staffed by different girls who’ve been drawn to her. They all practice a mystical massage technique invented by the kitsune, Lady Jakucho. One thing leads to another and Rinzer discovers plenty of ‘relief’ during his first appointment and his condition improves.

Hilariously, Nellie doesnt realize she just got her love interest laid, and there’s ongoing miscommunication as the masseuse, Dinahla, didn’t realize Rinzer was the same guy her friend Nellie always talked about. So… awkward, and a source of comedy as Dinahla struggles with her developing feelings for Rinzer. There will be at least two other masseuses as well, aside from the mysterious Lady Jakucho.

Overall it’s an even smaller scale story than Coye but the potential for expansion is there. Plenty of lewd massages await as he gets closer to all the girls in his life and probably a bit of action and adventure, too.
