Volume 4 Work Done, Big Update

Alright, mates. Let's talk about plans and stuff now that I'm done with volume 4's writing!

First, I have to spend the day going over edits my editor friend has left on other chapters that I have put off until now. Still waiting on him to edit the last two chapters, as well. After that, I will format the e-book. When that is done, I will submit it to Amazon and it will be released three days from when I submit. It’s the earliest I can release via altering the preorder release date. I wish I could just drop it, but blame the Bezos.

When volume 4 is up and I don’t have to worry about it anymore, I will start planning and writing some background things I need for my notes. Specifically I want to write big detailed character histories for Britni, Tiph, Marlie and Coco. I will post those here on Patreon, but I'd advise not reading them if you don't want spoilers both to their backstories and the direction their characters will develop. I already have their backstories plotted in vague, broad terms, but I just want to hammer those out into more specific things I can reference in the text. Likely need to do the same for Dorothy, too.

After that, I will begin some work on volume 5. 5 is going to have a weird structure, because a big chunk of it has already been rough drafted since 30k words of chapters was cut from volume 4. This potentially means 5 might get done faster, but no promises there. The first thing I need to do is plot out stuff to add before the cut out material. It’s not filler, but it will be presented in a slice of life style. I want to try something new and show vignettes of Coye interacting with the girls in his life over the period of a week, contrasted with mini chapters showing Dorothy’s week at the same time. Not sure how I’m going to structure all this yet, but I’m sure I can make it work.

I’m very excited to work on all this, though. Just because volume 4 is close to release doesn’t mean I’m interested in laying around doing nothing for a few days in celebration. I want to keep right on working!
