Coco the Beastman - Character Art and Bio

Debut of another future member of Coye's harem!

Coco is a mysterious Dogfolk somewhere around the age of 18 to 20, exact age unknown. She is four foot and entirely flat-chested.

For as long as Coco can remember, she lived in a forest north of Perlshaw known as the Wolfwin Woods. Rather than the typical raised by beasts story, Coco was raised by herself and every day was a fight for survival.

As she grew older and developed her survival and combat skills, she became the alpha of sorts of the forest’s wolves. She grew cocky and led them out of the woods a few times to attack humans and steal their shit, but didn’t kill any or let her wolves eat them. She did have some scuffles with hunters and adventurers before this, but this was what brought her into the public eye.

Coco was reported to the Perlshaw Adventurer’s Guild and a bounty quest was put on the so-called Wolfwin Shewolf. The one who took it was Britni, who was still early on in her career and did not have any of her future party members yet.

She went to subjugate the foe, but after tracking down Coco, Britni was taken with the dog almost immediately because of how cute she found her.

There was no fight, instead, Britni spent a week in the woods getting to know her. Coco can speak fluently, for the record, but her pattern of speech is very unpolished and she refers to herself in the third person.

Feral or not, Coco was still a Dogfolk at heart. Britni won her over by giving her lots of meat and coming back to the forest with dog toys until she was more or less domesticated. Coco promised not to attack any other humans, so long as Britni continued to provide toys and treats.

Britni had other plans.

She proposed that Coco come to the city with her and become an adventurer, too, so they could always hang out from now on. Coco refused, but her wolf pack began to shun her after this. She thought they betrayed her, but the wolves were merely pushing her to go have a better life outside the woods.

With no other option, Coco ultimately accepted, albeit with many tears.

Before then, Coco didn’t have a name. At least not one that she remembered. She had faint memories from a time before she ever lived in the woods and remembered that in those days she had a name upon trying she was only able to remember the first syllable, ‘Co’.

Britni suggested Coco and she was fine with it.

Coco found that she didn’t like being in the city of Perlshaw, and she especially didn’t like looking at the Palace of Count Chasteworthe. It made her fur stand on end, as did all the knights, and couldn’t explain why. Everything about the city brought to mind hazy memories and strange dreams, but thankfully, Coco always had Britni by her side to distract her from such things and they’re out on adventures most days anyway.

She excels as an adventurer, so long as someone is there to tell her what to do. She is not the one you turn to for critical thinking, but she has good survival instincts and is quite strong with even more potential to grow from here on out.

Her adventuring class is ‘Beastman’, a catch-all class for any Beastfolk who fight using their natural pysical abilities, general Arts, racial Arts that improve the power of one’s fangs, claws, tails, and so on.

On adventurers, Coco wears shorts and crop tops, but in her daily life she wears whatever random crap Britni thinks will look good on her. She treats Coco like a dress-up doll and practices makeup on her. She gets treats in exchange for wearing crap, though, so Coco doesn’t mind it all that much.

Coco wears no armor because she finds it uncomfortable, and her level of Steel Soul is very high. On top of that, she can use a variant known as Steel Fur to harden the fur of her massive tail, her paws, and her legs that can repel most threats so long as she reacts properly.

Personality-wise, Coco is aggressive, rude, territorial, and uncivilized. Sitting around idly for too long gives her the zoomies, she plays with loud toys despite her surroundings, she bites anything that goes near her, hand or otherwise.

Coco is close to all members of Britni’s party, the Baddest Bitches, but her relationship with Britni is very intimate. All four of the girls have fooled around with each other once or twice, but Coco is essentially Britni’s pet and does whatever she tells her, sexual or otherwise.

They rarely separate, and Britni even has trouble falling asleep without cuddling Coco’s big fluffy tail.

Coco’s greatest conflict is her struggle with personhood. She left the forest and her friends behind, but she doesn’t feel like she’s really found her place yet and feels guilty toward Britni for that. It’s partly Britni’s fault for unintentionally putting her down, telling Coco what to do all the time, and making most of her choices for her. Their relationship isn’t toxic, but there are a lot of small things Britni does that suffocate Coco and prevent her from developing as a person.

As for her relationship with Coye, it starts out adversarial since she acts on Britni’s orders to constantly tease him, and is very unashamed of using her body to do so. She thinks little of him until Coye sleeps with another member of her party, Tiphanie, whereupon she starts growing conflicted.

Now that the supposedly wimpy runt grew some balls, Coco starts looking at him as a potential mate. It’s subtle at first but the desire continues to grow until Coco can’t ignore it, wagging her tail and wanting to pounce him the second she sees.

Coco knows Britni has some sort of plan for the boy and Coco doesn’t want to step on her toes, though, so there’s another source of drama.

Coye, who by then has made it his goal to strike up as many new relationships as possible to enrich his life, takes advantage of this wedge between Britni and Coco to help the Dogfolk out. Not unlike how Shayla encouraged him to expand his horizons, Coye motivates Coco to think more for herself and be her own person, ultimately culminating with Coco developing independence and choosing to move her relationship with the boy on her own accord.

Owing to her torn nature that’s between the world of animals and men, she has conflicting tastes when it comes to sex. Toward Britni she is entirely submissive, acting like a good little puppyslut, but in most cases with Coye she is aggressive and dominant but as they grow closer she shows him this side of her as well.
