It has recently come to my attention that Patreon has begun to crack down on adult content, even if it doesn't violate the TOS. This is a real shame, but not surprising given the current political climate. The artists often log on to their sites only to find them suspended with no warning.
Now, I go to great lengths to ensure I don't violate the TOS, but something tells me this might be more about business then principle. Meaning, if Patreon is trying to attract a buyer, it's probably in their financial interest to make the site seem as wholesome as possible. Either that, or it's the work of some want to be do-gooder with a mountain of time on their hands and an abundance of daddy/mommy issues.
Luckily, I do have a nuclear option in place. Now, it's not perfect, otherwise I would just go ahead and migrate right now. Instead, I urge you to watch me at https://www.deviantart.com/destroxxiv . I will post any updates there if the worst comes to worst.
Hopefully, this will all pass soon.
