Boooooo! Delays! Yes, I know. I'm a bit behind on the Weekly Art this week. At a push it'll be finished tonight, at the latest it'll be posted tomorrow.
I don't normally delve into the reasons why these delays happen, but this time it feels important to. Hitting these animation grinds pretty hard has revealed a specific weakness in my technique that wasn't apparent until I drew for several hours straight at a time. The way I draw puts too much strain on my wrist, and some pain has set in over the past few weeks. I've been slowing down a bit to help it recover, and combining that with putting together the archive last weekend, I lost a fair bit of art time this week. This shouldn't set back the overall schedule, but slowing things down a touch while I learn to put more elbow grease than wrist grease into my pen strokes will be good in the long run.
