Mission Images (Poll Result: Will be added in future)

Hello guys and girls,

Hope you all had a good Christmas and New Year!

I've had a couple of people request mission images for some of the more, "interesting" scenes that can occur when sending your team off. As I'm currently working on these reports as part of the overhaul, I was wondering if this is something you feel I should add, or that it is covered just fine by the reports?

I am talking about a single image or two absolute max for these, not scenes, and it wouldn't be for all of them. Some ideas for ones that could have it are Kylie/RoC Officer, Leona's coffee shirt etc.

Terms of development time lost to make these, would probably be the third machine for a couple of days rendering (equivalent to about 15 story images) per update, so it wouldn't really have that much of an impact, especially as going forward you're not going to have 3 different reports per mission. So it is more of a case just if you feel they'd be useful or not.

I've noticed some games have collectibles you can find, so it could be similar to that. It wouldn't be "Oh I took this picture for you", it'd just be a visual depiction of what is typed out as it is after all a game.

So yeah, let me know what you think.

In terms of story images (the last poll) the way I'm going to work that is they will be added by allowing your team to capture an entire scene (recording, CCTV etc), so they will be added, but in a much more immersive way than the Midsommer Murder way of showing you before the MC even knows, you'll see things, but so will the MC.

Update 12/01: Currently this stands at 78-12 (all platforms included) in favour, so seems very popular and these will be added, I cannot see this coming back and swinging the other way. I will implement an option to disable images in the new system (you'll be asked once the first time using the new system each playthrough) though so text only will remain an option if you don't want to see these.
