Loved the technical explanation at the start. This is the sort of stuff people need to know to understand what optimization really means, and why you can't do it after the fact (or you can only do it at great expense). This is the exact sort of stuff I subscribed for, as this is not something most game reviewers would touch / have in-depth knowledge on.

It could work, but I'm unsure of the audience reaction to it. The flow makes sense, though to add to it, apart of why Gamer Gate blew up was the underhanded tactics of publishers influencing reviewers. Addressing concerns of bought reviews and removal of negative reviews may be prudent. (Granted most folks walking in the gaming sphere for a certain period of time learn mainstream reviews tend to be bought.)
