It gives a lot of context to how these mixtapes came to be and his mindstate when putting them together. Even though I've listened to these mixtapes for years listening to it after hearing the backstory gives me a new perspective listening now that makes it interesting all over again

Had no idea who he was when I saw the headliners (ironically talib kweli was one of them). So I decided to check his material out before the festival and listened to this and he instantly became to one I had to see! Prob still my fav record til this day... But man I can't believe you really think dead presidents 1 is better than 2 😂
