Also, if I were to do an alternate ending to t, I would love for Beverly to get transformed back to Ben, thinking he’ll be “cured” or whatever when he’s back to Ben, and then he just feels uncomfortable being who he was. Ends up liking what makes Beverly truly Beverly.

I reckon this might also be a cultural translation thing: where I'm from, 'frizzy hair' is not a negative connotation but more just a casual way of referring to very curly hair, particularly Irish or Scottish-descended curls. I'll be sure to use the wider terminology in the future.
