2025-02-18 17:39:46 +0000 UTCThis whole episode was basically a huge tribute to Rick, and I think they did a wonderful job. I can't watch that Hershel scene without getting choked up, especially knowing his actor passed shortly before the episode aired. Andrew Lincoln announced that S9 would be his last months in advance. It was heavily advertised as such so this was probably a much different experience for you guys without that knowledge! Sad to see him go, but Rick Grimes lives on! And hey, you never know what can happen in the next 2.5 seasons and beyond! ๐ค
