I'm so proud of them that makes me cry

Very well said! The governments position also changed in the meantime with a new president who doesn't align with their values, so....

If you watch the video and the interview with their former president, you'll understand what an incredible and proud moment it was for them. But it also came with added pressure. BTS aren't just global superstars—they're influential artists whose every move is scrutinized. They've been outspoken about their political views through their music, but now they're in a position where their actions are under constant public and political examination. Every win or loss for BTS, or their label, has a ripple effect on their country's economy. It’s difficult to grasp the full weight of their positions when people selectively pick and choose their words to fit different narratives. Even now, with five members serving in the military, the smear campaigns their company faces doesn't seem to be just another corporate conflict but there are most likely political motives behind them. There's a concerted effort to either harness the massive influence BTS holds or to tear them down. That’s why, despite the immense pride they feel over receiving "Diplomatic Passports," RM said —“Not a fucking diplomat”. It’s a reminder that their influence, while remarkable, comes with a level of responsibility and complexity that no one can fully understand unless they're in their shoes.
