Jamais Vu is one of those songs that I keeps forgetting about, but when it pops back up, I'm like "Oh yeah, this is a great one." My grandmother once told me a story. When she was a girl, she was outside on a swing when a water truck drove past. And randomly she just kept thinking about that water truck, and kept saying it to herself over an over. "water truck... water truck... water truck... water truck" until eventually she didn't realize it but it came to mean nothing to her because she had said it so many times. And a moment later, one of her sibling came up behind her to cath her attention and it surprised her. And instead of just yelling out "AHH!" like you normally would, she instead screamed "WATER TRUCK WATER TRUCK WATER TRUCK!!!!" to the utter confusion of both her and her sibling. And I myself have also experienced writing a word and then re-looking at it and going "that's not how that's spelled", even though I've written it so many times before that I know it has to be correct, but for some reason, the combination of letters just meant nothing. It's a weird feeling.

2024-11-06 21:28:02 +0000 UTCi have experienced this phenomenon many times but it´s not something you remember mostly you remember the deja vu because you keep on thinking where did i see this? one time looked at my daughter and saw her differently than i normally do. like with a new pear of eyes, she felt unfamiliar to me, so that was a little creepy. but also interesting because you tend to get very used to something that you miss small details others will point out. i notice that with BTS too. when some new army say something that i always overlook because i know them so well now.
