As you all are undoubtedly aware, we're in the midst of a major global pandemic, self-quarantining, and trying not to be bored out of our minds. In light of that, it seemed like a good time just to touch base and let you folks know what I'm up to currently.
My husband has been extremely sick for the past 60 hours and I spent the weekend caring for him, washing my hands, and trying to social distance in a two bedroom apartment. Not sure what he has (stomach bug at least) but as it seems like he might finally be improving, perhaps it's not corona. (crosses fingers) Now of course I'm just waiting to see if I come down with what he has, which is likely. -_- If I do, and know I will be out of commission for a few days, I will let you guys know.
Staying inspired and wanting to draw/create right now is a challenge, I'm not gonna lie. I'm doing my best, and it is my job, so I will persevere, but I'm feeling a mental health/personal day coming on soon. There's so much on my mind as friends and loved ones fall ill, in addition to not being able to get out of the apartment in any meaningful way anymore. (everything's closed) It just kind of squishes down and constricts creative flow.
As I said, I still plan to create artwork and do my weekly streams. (tomorrow starting 4pm PST!) In addition I will try to do so with a positive, cautiously optimistic outlook. Things are rough all over, and they're just starting to get worse where I live specifically. Because of that, I wanted to say thank you again for your support through this. Honestly, if I didn't have the means to stay busy, engaged every day because of you guys and the job I do, I think I'd be feeling a whole lot worse.
