Well... shit happens [Hogwarts]

As you probably know by now, my Hogwarts fanfic got deleted along with a lot of the other top-ranked fanfics today in Webnovel. I literally woke up to the news in the pat chat and yeah… that was a great start to the day.

I contacted Webnovel support and explained that I did get the original author's approval—well, as much as is possible on Faloo. We talked in the comments about the idea, and he silently agreed. But Webnovel demanded an official written authorization from him.

The problem? That’s impossible. Faloo’s rules don’t allow their authors to officially give that kind of permission, and if he did, his own book could get deleted.

Webnovel said they still have to follow Faloo’s copyright policy, so without a formal approval letter, they can’t restore the book.

Also, heads-up: the person who reported these fanfics didn’t stop at one. Webnovel said they’re still reviewing more cases like mine, so warn your authors to back up their work.

So what’s next:

I’ll make a new account and reupload the fanfic starting tomorrow. For the paid members—don’t worry, daily chapters will still continue normally here in pat.

Also, if anyone knows good alternative platforms to upload on—please drop them.

I’m honestly exhausted after this whole situation, and I know I’m not even the worst case out there, but I can't do anything today
