Last Human: Episode 5 (Devlog 6)

Happy weekend patrons!

I really don't have a whole lot to tell you this week. Just wanted to share this NSFW image for you... preview from episode 5.

So, in my last devlog, I mentioned that I could have release dates before the end of the month. We're going to make that about 2 weeks into next month. I need to buy a little time from you guys and add a couple of scenes to this update. Originally, in episode 5 we were supposed to be leaving the Pantherian system to go... 'out there'. I ended up pushing things back a bit to make room because I really wanted to have all the [pet] business completed first. Episode 6 will definitely be the one where the Aurora will finally venture out into the unknown... and we'll see what kind of crazy stuff they'll get into. We have a complete crew with various personalities, so it should be a lot of fun seeing how things pan out.

Oh, I actually do have something to mention on the development side after all... I am trying to add some name changing options in the menu. I don't know how soon I'll have that working, but it's possible it could be in the next update. Just not sure. I've asked for some help on this because I'm not the best coder, and I received some code that should help guide me in this.

I'm just passed halfway through rendering everything. In the middle of next month at my full time job, we have visitors travelling in and we all will be at the office. I'm trying like hell to finish this update before that because that visit kicks off a bunch of 'busy work' that is going to have me tied down for a week or two. So, if I'm not as active as usual, it's only because I'm just busy trying to get this update done, all while also working my full time job and trying to get to bed at a decent hour.

Wow, this devlog is longer than I thought it would be! Anyway, the preview image is from a scene with Queen Tessa. I actually stopped working on it to post this and get something to eat. After I post this, I'll wrap up that scene and get started on the next one. Then spend the weekend knocking out what renders I can.
