wouldn't the doctor still have failed the game because he shot Adam (not killing him), but also because the time past 6pm when he shot him?

It’s interesting to me whenever I see an Asian gal where colored contacts. They always stick out to me more than someone in America (where I live). I suppose it’s probably due to the fact that most Asian countries are incredibly homogeneous. Not only as brown eyes more “dominant” (more common), they are overwhelmingly the vast majority of eye color in Asia/South-east Asia. It caught me off guard, but I think it looks great! 👌

I think this movie was way too much for Ivy 🫣 Hella, I'm pleading with you. You MUST watch "Poltergeist" for Halloween. It's directed by Steven Spielberg. You will ❤️it !!

To answer your question, Dr Gordon was saved by John (Jigsaw) who gave him medical aid. Dr Gordon shows up in Saw 9, I think. There is 10 SAW movies with 2 spinoff's Jigsaw and Spiral.

The original Saw was an independent film that did well in Sundance Film Festival and Toronto International Film Festival. The guy who played Adam was one of the writers of the original film.

great reaction! as for whether to do a sequel, there are a lot of Saw movies, if you watch Saw II and Saw III that should be enough I think, Saw III ends in a way you could consider an ending to the story, although they of course found a way to continue it, Leigh Whannell (who played Adam) wrote the first Saw movie and the two sequels, the sequels get much more violent while the first one makes you think it's more violent than it is due to clever editing and sound effects.

I’ve always wondered if the message “X marks the spot” was a reference to himself since he is laying on the floor in an X position with both hands and legs spread out.

One of the quintessential Halloween series... at least the first few. It's amazing how this film proved that even with a tiny budget, and huge imagination, you can create something huge.

The sequels are what leans more into showing graphic deaths but the first one is closer to "Se7en" or "Silence of the Lambs"

HAHAHA! Let’s go! I agree with some of the others that I wouldn’t beyond this one… it just becomes a “what’s the grossest way we can murder someone…” kind of thing and that gets boring quick…

Jigsaw, "I want to play a game.".
Katie, "Then play Candy Crush.".😅
That was an intense reaction. Not exactly a horror movie, but a very dark thriller in the vein of Seven.
The success of this movie opened several doors for creator James Wan. He later launched two successful horror franchises, the Insidious Series and the Conjuring Universe.
Both franchises have their ups and downs, but the movies that kicked it all off, Insidious and The Conjuring, are modern horror movie classics and are definitely worth a reaction.
As for Saw 2, I can't really give you a good recommendation. As the series progresses, the Jigsaw traps become more creative and the kills more brutal. But the story increasingly fades into the background and becomes a confusing mess.
I've seen all the Saw movies at least once, and I can't remember any of them except for some truly creative kills. The only one that really stuck with me is part 1.
My recommendation: only watch the second part if you want to see more of the Jigsaw traps. But be warned, the kill scenes get increasingly brutal.
That was an awesome reaction, ladies, and thanks for the quadruple upload today.💜 I'm looking forward to starting Breaking Bad tomorrow.🙂

This is so awesome. 1000% goosebumps at the reveal (i also love when the SAW Theme starts). Also im so proud of Katie that she remembered the Name John. I think this is the most iconic reveal of the Franchise, but i also like the twist at the end of Part 2, 3 and 4.... I hope you ladies continue for the next few parts even if its not Halloween anymore by then. + You will see what happened with Adam, Dr. Gordon, Jigsaw etc over time

Not a huge fan of pornographic violence. The first Saw was quite good though. After that it became 'what's the most creative way we can kill this person'. The first one at least emphasized story over the torture aspect.
