Very disappointed to not see the reaction to the credits. I am willing to bet that the girls didn’t realize how many characters were played by both Eddie and Arsenio, not to mention the final joke. I thought it was a ploy to get Youtubers to come here to see it, but it was worse than that, they just skipped it. I hope it was some sort of recording error.

Dang, yes indeed.
James Earl Jones was the voice, of course. David Prowse in the costume of course.
James Earl Jones also provides an excellent voice (as he does) in Patriot Games. Richard Harris does, too.
(Also. 48 Hours, Beverly Hills Cop, Trading Places, all excellent 👏🏻)

One of the greatest comedies ever made. Now you must see "Trading Places" to find out who Mortimer and Randolph(The hobos who received the money) are.

WOAH!!! The ‘Trading Places’ reference halfway through (Randolph and Mortimer) 😂
Haven’t seen this in years! 😂 There’s definitely some Marx Brothers influences earlier on, and I lost count of how many characters Eddie Murphy plays.
Loved the reaction. Really didn’t look like Hella was in the mood to watch anything at the start, but the comedy wins 🙂

Yep. We need more Eddie Murphy.
Beverly Hills Cop, Trading Places…..
Actually, Trading Places was on the Christmas vote and I voted for Die Hard. If only I could have had a second vote.

You need to watch Trading Places next! It'll make you appreciate the scene of giving that wad of cash to the homeless guy toward the end!😄

I love this movie. In my opinion, Coming to America is Eddie Murphy's best movie along with Trading Places.
There's not much else to say for me that others have already said better.😅
That was a fun reaction ladies, as always.💜

Here's the rule:
If the end credits are showing actors, do not skip until the credits roll over a blank screen. Except Marvel movies, when you check for extra scenes in the middle and after credits. 😁

Always love your comedy reactions and would love if you watched more Eddie Murphy films such as The Nutty Professor (1996), Trading Places (1983), Bowfinger (1999) and Beverly Hills Cop (1984) (plus the Beverly Hills Cop sequels, Beverly Hills Cop II (1987) and Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley (2024), you can skip Beverly Hills Cop III (1994) as that movie is a disaster, the recent 4th one was good though), as a kid my two favorite actors were Jim Carrey and Eddie Murphy, now that you've reacted to most of Jim Carrey's big films it would be fun if you react to Eddie's, anyway great choices recently ladies!

1. Awww, you missed the credits where you learn that Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall played a number of characters - including almost all of the barber shop guys (including the Jewish man), the pastor, the singer, and one of the women in the dating montage.
2. If you'd like to know more about the homeless guys who Eddie Murphy gave the "pocket change" to, you should watch "Trading Places."
3. I'll echo the suggestions of many others and recommend "Beverly Hills Cop" and "48 hours", but another underrated Eddie Murphy movie is "The Golden Child" which mixes in a little bit of Eastern mysticism.
Its so much fun watching your reactions that I sometimes put them on my second screen, but end up ignoring what I should be doing to focus on them... :\

This was one of the funniest reactions to this movie. Of course now I hope you three react to Trading Places. It will explain the two homeless guys reaction to Akeem giving them money. And Chi singing was adorable lol.

It's nice to re-watch these 80s movies through your eyes. For me, this is an old comedy movie we would watch on TV when there was nothing else on. But looking back at it now, this movie really captures the time and culture. You can see the 1980s style of fashion, hair and music in this movie.
If you're looking into romantic comedies for Valentine's day, you might like Sleepless in Seattle and You've Got Mail (both starring Tom Hanks).

I'm glad you all seemed to enjoy this film.
The King is played by James Earl Jones. He has the best voice in the world. That's why he is the voice of Darth Vader. A different actor was in the costume, but James Earl Jones did the voice. He also plays the bad guy in the film: Conan The Barbarian. That film has awesome music and stars one of your favorites. Arnold Schwarzenegger.
If you want to watch more Eddie Murphy movies I suggest 48 hours, Beverly Hills Cop, and Trading Places.
If you want to watch some more Comedies that focus on the lives of black people, I would suggest FRIDAY(1995).

Great reaction. I'd love to have a hamburger phone, too. Samuel L Jackson was very early in his career when he played the robber. He was so memorable in the role. King Jaffe Joffer played by James Earle Jones was the voice of Darth Vader in Star Wars.

This movie should really be called, "Coming to America: Die Hard." I don't know if you recognized it or not but Cleo McDowell is the main army Lt. Col in the army detachment in Die Hard 2. The man who bows to Akeem at the b-ball game is also in Die Hard 2. He was the one in the luggage area at the beginning. Finally, the main one, the one and only, Samuel L Jackson was the robber in the restaurant and he was in Die Hard 3! 😂
Great movie choice. You all should watch the credits as others have said to see how much Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall contributed to this movie.
It is always a pleasure with Movie Munchies!!
