This was the first R rated movie that I saw when I was a kid, and I still think it's hilarious. Each scene is like a skit from the show "In Living Color", also from the Wayan's brothers. I think if they made this movie today, it wouldn't have so many graphic sexual jokes. It was probably more acceptable 20 years ago. If you like Horror/Comedy movies you might see Shaun of the Dead and Zombieland. Both are zombie movies that are a little scary but mostly funny.

I could identify a few of the parodies but looked it up to see what actually was in this movie and some of them didn't land with me as well. Look forward to some more comedy uploads but...there are still not much horror on here. I reiterate, when you going to upload some Zombie flicks?

I hope you guys do 3 it's funnier in my opinion. 2 still a classic even tho it’s hard to tell cause these movies have a lot to do with Current pop culture references. In that time period. Like that basketball scene was a famous Nike commercial they used to run all day lol

As for this movie... well at least it's short, i found your reactions much funnier than anything in the movie, the third one is better but these films are extremely hit and miss, this one mostly miss in my opinion, but still fun reaction.

2024-11-13 22:11:33 +0000 UTCHi Munchies. This film spoofs a lot of different horror movies, but the main one and the setting is based on The Haunting of Hill House. Shirley Jackson wrote the original story in 1959 and since then it has been adapted a few times into films, but Scary Movie 2 is mostly calling back to the 1999 film The Haunting. Most recently Netflix did a TV Series called The Haunting of Hill House that is directed by Mike Flannigan. I don't think you've watched any of his films yet, but he's awesome. He directed Dr. Sleep which is the sequel to The Shining. His version of Hill House is also worth watching, but it is 10 one hour episodes, so a time investment and it is actually scary and quite emotional. I really love Chris Elliot's performance in this film. He plays the care-taker. He's kind of known for doing weird comedy. I would suggest before you watch Scary Movie 3 that you watch The Ring (2002) because Scary Movie 3 really spoils that movie.

Scarry Movie 2 is mostly a parody of Hounted Hill and Poltergeist. Even if you haven't seen many of the movies that are parodied in Scarry Movie 2, your reaction was hilarious.😂 The scene with the clown was from Poltergeist 1 and gave me nightmares as a child. The three original Poltergeist movies are worth a reaction, the 2015 remake less so. Great reaction as always ladies and keep up the good work...I love the cute ghost headbands💜
