2024-11-04 22:46:37 +0000 UTCLadies, as far as Damien's birth "mother"... the priest, upon first meeting the Ambassador in his office, tried to tell him that he saw Damien being born from a jackal. That was what the skeleton was in the "Maria Scianna" grave.

Hella would have given us a different alternative end but at least the one in the middle (I don't know her name? Lyn? ) got it right and brought some peace of mind to me. The heart of the movie was Tien reacting to the Jiraffes, minute 33, lol. I had a good time watching you. My suggestion: Fright Night ( 1985 ) and Monster Squad ( 1987 ) peace.

It's so common in the west that nobody really acknowledges it's very literally a doomsday cult canibalistic blood ritual (depending on your definition of cult).

The nanny is not the mother, the real mother was a jackal. The jackal is an animal that is somewhere between a dog and a wolf. The scene in the cemetery and the revelations about Damien's mother and that the ambassador's real son was killed was always the scariest part of the movie for me. There are two direct sequels, Omen 2 is okay but not really a highlight, Omen 3 is really good. In the 3rd part, Damien is a grown man and the battle between good and evil reaches its climax. You can safely forget about part 4.😅 Then there is a remake from 2006 that basically retells the story of the first part in a more modern setting. The remake is pretty good, but doesn't come anywhere close to the original. Then The First Omen came out this year. The First Omen is, for me, the best part of the series besides the first Movie. It's basically the prequel to The Omen. It tells the story of Damien's real mother. As a result, the movie obviously changes an important part of the story from the first Movie. As I said, in the original the mother was a jackal, the prequel changes that. I would definitely recommend The First Omen for a reaction. I love all the extra uploads lately, thanks again for that. 2024-10-21 18:31:12 +0000 UTCGreat reaction. I love a movie that has an underlying mystery. It's so fun to watch the Munchies and the Angels try to figure things out. The dogs in this movie are a breed called Rottweiler. They are also called Devil Dogs, probably because of this movie. Rottweilers can be very ferocious but I grew up with two of them, BUSTER and SPIKE, both of them were about 130 lbs, so much bigger than a single Munchie or Angel, but also our two dogs were very sweet and didn't attack people. People were still scared of them because they were just muscles and teeth. I think if ten of these dogs attacked you in an old cemetery, you would not leave that cemetery. In the film, the priest tells Thorn (the father) to drink of the blood of Christ and eat of his flesh. Hella thought this was really strange, but this is just something called COMMUNIUN. A priest gives you a wafer and some wine. The wafer represents the body of Christ and the wine his blood. The Catholics believe in TRANSUBSTANTIATION, and in this case, that means the wafer and the wine actually changes to the body and blood of Christ once you take it. The Omen is considered Religious Horror, and I think The Exorcist would fall into this category as well. Some recent examples of Religious Horror, are The First Omen 2024 (yep, a prequel to the Omen and I thought really good) and IMMACULATE 2024 (also set in the Catholic church) and stars the very "it" actress of the moment in the US, Sidney Sweeney.
