Rambo First Blood Reaction

Rambo First Blood Reaction

Most guns can shoot through walls and ceiling. Even a regular gun can. That's why it's very important that you know what is behind your target to make sure you don't shoot anyone you don't intend to. This is also why hollow point bullets are popular. They will stop when they hit the target instead of going through the target and hitting things behind it. As to what Rambo is doing to the town .. They messed with the wrong guy. lol

The sheriff and deputies drew "first blood". That means they struck first - not Rambo. This movie was a reflection of American attitudes towards returning soldiers after the war. They were treated very badly. This movie caused many Americans to rethink their attitudes. Today we care about our veterans. Also - in the book - Rambo dies.

Great reaction Girls. Stallone is my favorite actor.

This is a simple logical fallacy ~ an alternative interpretation is: Black people committing criminal acts, at that cause them to interact with police, at a much higher rate than any other group... The biggest threat to Black lives, is other Black people, not racism or white whatever they're calling it to collect more votes..... You're world view is skewed by the CIA propaganda machine called CNN and MSNBC m8. Making it about race is a victim mentality, and it removes the personal responsibility. It's ALL a political manipulation. The people that actually "own" America, need us to fight each other because it's easier to control us... Every day they fan the flames of hate and division, because if we ever united against THEM, they wouldn't have a chance. Look up Mockingbird Media, see what they've been up to. it's all BS, lies, and propaganda.

Oh, well, if Google Search says so, we should ignore the actual dialogue in the movie...

Edward Olson

Google search says because he was a veteran. Vietnam vets were treated like shit by some Americans. The sheriff was a Korean war veteran and people didn't treat them like shit. But he also didn't like his hair and thought he was a hippie. Doesn't matter though, good movie from the old days.

Black people make up 12.1% of Americans and non-hispanic white people make up 57.8%. If 495 white people were killed by police, then the number of Black people should have been 103. That means that Black people are 2.7 times more likely to be killed by police than a white person. The hispanic population is 18.7% so that number should have been 160. They are 1.3 times more likely to be killed by police than a white person.

The issue wasn't that he was a veteran. The issue, as the Sheriff said, was that his hair was long and he was dirty, and those conditions were disrestpectful to the flag on his jacket. The Sheriff himself was a veteran, as you can see from the display of his medals behind him when he's sitting at his desk. The deputies didn't seem to think he was a veteran until they double-checked his dog tags.

"Back there I could fly a gunship, I could drive a tank, I was in charge of million dollar equipment, back here I can't even hold a job parking cars!" ~ Rambo

As of December 18, 2023: 282 Black people were killed by the police in the United States. This compares to 201 Hispanic people and 495 White people.

Another amazing reaction from my favorite reactors. It had everything. Another appearance from "Evil Chi" and another scene that caused Hella to break down. I love the way you view the movies you watch. Don't let anyone tell you that your reactions are fake ladies. We appreciate your openess and honesty during the movies. πŸ’•

This is exactly how American police are - too many police are on a power trip. Unarmed people - especially unarmed black people - get harassed, beaten up, shot, and killed by police here in the US all the time. In the '70s, the police had no respect for any man with long hair, wearing army clothes, because such people were regarded as homeless, and therefore undesirables, and police didn't care that the veterans served their country.

(And the 2008 Rambo movie ended with the scene that really should have closed the film series perfectly & permanently. The series & character really didn't need Last Blood... nor did we.)

Aside from a completionist-stance, I tend to believe that only the first film is at the level of must-see. That is not to minimize any of the issues/causes featured in the other films (MIA/POWs... 80's Afghanistan-vs-Soviets... Free Burma... US/Mex Cartels). I still hold the 2008 Rambo as a personal favorite... but also as depicting the most evil violence in combat I've seen in a movie (which, of course, is part of the message imparted by the film).

The Flowers of War [2011] Interesting recommendation; I was somehow not aware of this film, so thank you.

S_Vive

I share your thoughts on the movie. Great reaction and a lot of fun to watch with you

Larry Anderson

You guy should watch a movie called flowers of war It's about the japanese invasion of Nanking through the eyes of a man pretending to be priest played by Christian bale where he ends up looking after a school of girls trying to keep them safe

Excellent reaction. The Movies: 1. First Blood (1982) 2. Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985) 3. Rambo III (1988) 4. Rambo (2008) 5. Rambo: Last Blood (2019)

It's an OLD movie and some Americans didn't give any respect to war veterans. They treated them like shit, just like the cop at the beginning of the movie. They fought and died for America but some people take that freedom for granted.

Bmac Tattoo

This movie reminds me of Ruby Ridge. An incident in America that is well known but few talk about it. The government was held accountable for all the wrongful deaths in that case. Lot’s of innocent people died back then. When you get the chance, google it
