Alien Reaction

Alien Reaction

Comments

I come back to this reaction periodically because it is one of the Munchies' best. To watch Hella freak out during the Alien bursting out of the chest scene and proclaiming, "its ugly!", always cracks me up. Then the Alien screeches and Hella follows up with her own screech.....LOL. Too damn good!

TippedDuke

Your guys' reactions crack me up. Well done!

Robert McDowell

Just saw this in a movie theater for the 45th anniversary.

So good and funny reaction! :D

Veli-Jussi Hirvonen

that thing is totally overrated

Only two movies ever scared me as a kid; Alien was the first... Carpenter's The Thing was the other. I fear that they will miss most of the film for covering their eyes and looking away. One of the only films to watch afterwards for recovering from the terror with absolute fun is also a John Carpenter movie: Big Trouble In Little China.

S_Vive

great choice

YoureMrLebowski

Alien is a great horror film. It has a lot of imagination. Its sequel is even better. Unfortunately, the series really drops off after that.

Chrono Gamer

great reaction, one of the best.

Fantastic reaction, I loved it. You watched the 2003 Director’s Cut. The "Director's Cut" restored roughly four minutes of deleted footage, while cutting about five minutes of other material, leaving it about a minute shorter than the theatrical cut.

Lee Pitman

Love this movie. You all should check out John Carpenter's 1982 movie, The Thing for your next sci-fi horror film!

Sunbeams

OMG I love you girls, So glad I suggested this. It's a classic and your reactions are always fun to see. :) Can only hope you will watch Aliens as well. lol

My dad was a high priest in the Mormon church but also a huge Sci-Fi fan. This was the first and only Rated-R movie he would allow us to watch. I haven't seen it for decades and it still amazes me how well it was done for the period of time.

Kauthaji

(for Chi and Hella) So, to help you with what was happening towards the end on the Nostromo... after the Alien killed Parker & Lambert and Ripley activated the auto-destruct, the ship would blow up in 10 minutes; for the first half of that time, Ripley still had 5 minutes to change her mind and cancel the auto-destruct. She tried to get to the shuttle but saw the Alien blocking the door to the shuttle. She then tried to go back and cancel the auto-destruct but was just a few seconds too late to turn it off. She then has no choice but to try getting to the shuttle again... and this time she sees the that the Alien isn't there anymore, gets aboard and launches the escape shuttle. So there was only ever one countdown sequence (10 minutes) to the ship blowing up, but when the 1st 5 minutes of that countdown was over, there was no way to cancel the auto-destruct and stop the last 5 minutes of the countdown.

Thank you thank you!

Movie Munchies

Movie Munchies

Movie Munchies

YOUR USUAL GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Michael Goldberg

I first saw it in the year of release, as my only present for 8th birthday. Too bad for me, because I ran out of the theatre twice: 1st when Kane gets face-hugged, and 2nd during Kane's last meal... after which I spent the remainder of the movie firmly camped out in the sunlit lobby.

S_Vive

Ah...Alien... certain to induce much cushion-clutching.

S_Vive

The Company WAS evil. Pretty much all large companies, and governments, are evil. They can't help it.

Tinker Greg

The second movie - Aliens - is a lot better. Hope that you can watch, react, and post it soon.

Tinker Greg

It's too bad it was spoiled for you by telling you about the "female action leading role" aspect.
