Couple of tips, 1) Paint your dominant hand first. 2) Finding a spot to rest your pinky (instead of letting it hover) will help stabalize your whole hand. 3) Start near the cuticle and gently & slowly sweep up towards the free edge of your nail. 4) if you have tooth picks, you can use the tip, do it on polish remover and able it to absorb a little and use it to clean up around your nail if you need to. Same with with a q-tip if the mess is a bit bigger.
