[making process]Blue Archive Toki bunny girl making Process & tips3

I used to paint eyes first and then apply skin tone, but I got tired of it, so this time I painted eyes by applying skin tone first.

If you understand the entire process, it does not matter whether you paint the skin tone first or later.

First, paint the skin color to the same color as the body.

┃Example of failure (example of drawing eyes too large)

This is an example of failure. The eyes were too big because I didn't check them enough when I made the preliminary drawing. I thought something was wrong, so I reduced the size of the eyes in Photoshop to get a good balance.

I apparently have a bad habit of drawing the dominant hand side(In other words, left eye.) larger.

By drawing the right eye based on this, the size of both eyes became larger, leading to a collapse of balance.

Therefore, I would like to draw my own eyes with my own habits in mind and never neglect to check the balance in the future.

By the way, here is a comparison of the drafting at the time of failure and the drafting afterwards.

Making the whites of the eyes in this state allows you to check the balance of the eyes.

This is what it looks like when fitting.

You can see that the eyes are balanced, so we will proceed with this.

The process of coloring the eyes can be seen in the video, so please check it out there.

Once you have proceeded this far, you are almost done. Now, paint a thin coat of eye shadow in enamel fluorescent red near the corner of the eye indicated by the arrow.

Lips are also applied in a thin layer of fluorescent red as well. Personally, I think this process is probably my favorite because the eyeshadow and blush bring life to the face.

Once this is done, gloss clear coat the entire area and polish the eyes. Then, only the eyes are masked and matte coated to finish the eye painting process.

This is the end of the explanation of this production. If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a comment and I will reply or add a note.

This bunny toki will be on sale at the wonder festival 2024 Winter, and will be available on BOOTH afterwards!

I'm glad if my videos and posts are helpful for your creativity. The sponge brush I use to correct the eye area is called Rubihead. You can check out similar products from Gaianotes and Creos. Also the brush used for corrections is the God Brush: Tsun-Tsun Brush S. The brushes used for drawing eyes are God Brush: Ultra-Fine Point Brush L and Short Hard Surface Fine Brush Both of these brushes are more difficult to master, so it is ideal to practise with cheaper brushes at first.

Thank you Sukima! You're videos have been so helpful! I'm making the leap from Warhammer 40k and 3D print statues to GKs and it's a whole new world. What is the pointed tool you use to clean up around the eyes. Also, Do you have brand or size of brushes you like for eye detail?
