Naoto still having her skis on is such a cute touch, like she's so delicate Kanji couldn't think to take them off outside ❤️ In my head the ski trip is often where I picture their relationship kickstarting- Like, they reach the lodge, take off their skis, and they feel so awkward but they both secretly really enjoyed Kanji carrying Naoto back. And there are all kinds of ways it could pan out from there, Rise finds a way to coax them into sharing a chair for a while or Kanji rushes to protect Naoto when the lights go out while they're telling ghost stories, Rise pulls strings to put them in a room together so Naoto has extra protection- it writes itself lol
