Hey yall, hope everyone's not just gooning out this summer and making the most out of it
Some small progress was made this month when I had the chance, next month I should have much needed time to focus on a good flow of progress (summer break from work)
The mouth x-ray geometry has been merged together, where the start of the mouth needed a some work on UV texture mapping stuff you can see on the right side. The boxes are each cylinder stacked on top of eachother which is for a continuous seamless texture, whereas another grid should be used for fading using something called an alpha map, which should hide the edges off for aesthetics. Hope that was not too much alien lingo, but basically lot of background work which may not seem like much at first glance
The next step for this components is to combine the rigs for each individual cylinder and modify it slightly to be adjusted to it's purpose. I'm quite nervous in doing this as it has been a while and I just remember the times I lost loads of progress from crashes or having to redo it from scratch because it didn't include something important.
I'll get it to work! Ngl I wish I could just slap this into a game as it is, but I know deep down to try not to rush this as it will lead me to doing more work
