Update - Early Abzug Animation

Since there is another OC character that needs to be made for the commissioned animation, I felt like it would be too long of a content gap between the last animation
I wanted to let you guys choose a solo animation in a poll I will release later (for any newcomers, Abzug is a futanari orc). It will be a short animation, but hopefully enough to introduce Abzug to the fans!
On recent slow content (a bit technical first and personal stuff last):
Aside from IRL problems (the usual family, financial & mental health), I ran into a texturing issue with my models.
I feel like I am good enough at 3D to say it's my job, but since softwares are constantly being updated, there are always new things I have to learn from time to time to adjust to those new changes.
Since I had been following a 'procedural' workflow with my models (allowing parts of the model/textures/rig to be reused like in videogames) each of my characters shares the same UV's (2D image layout used to translate onto 3D model). This gave rise to a problem in the rotational properties of the edges & seams of the model UV's for normal mapping (3d texture map used to make parts of character like the muscles to pop out). Most of the UV's where not rotated in a uniform way, which did not sit well with normal map textures over the seams.
Usually normal maps don't need to cross over edges, but it had to be done for the muscular body type C which Abzug uses. This resulted in having to do the same work over about 4 times, and naturally I also got burnt out from that whole mess.
Eventually I will need to apply this fix to all my models, as what I've done for Abzug now is more of a workaround. But right now I don't feel like I have the time to do that without putting out some new content
On a more personal note, I hope you guys understand that recently has been a tough time. But I am always trying my best to get back to regular schedules.
I feel like Abzug is such a great character and has a lot of potential to turn the tide on what I do which has unintentionally put some added pressure on my shoulders, being somewhat of a perfectionist that doesn't mix well
Creating these ideas that I can share with my supporters is really fun and intriguing to me, I will never lose my motivation for this work, in fact I consider myself lucky to have such amazing & dedicated fans.
