What's better than changing the engine once? Doing it a second time!
Some of you may remember the very early days of the project back when it was made in Unity (I feel old). After switching to Unreal, it offered new improvements, but also a ton of new problems. I spent countless hours fighting with it, but alas, I found a solution. The Engine to end all engines, framework to end all frameworks... THE RPG MAKER!!!!
It's perfect, the game practically makes itself. Spritework, movement and simple combat are already built into it... All I have to do now, is to click around to transfer all of the assets into a tileset! I can't believe I haven't thought of it earlier!

In case you haven't, please don't take this post too seriously. I'm just kidding. I felt a bit of sentiment towards the RPG Maker and my early days of game development like a decade ago where it was pretty much the only tool I could use. A neat little throwback!
Have a great day! Don't get fooled 👀
