Lorthass Cows are massive lobster-taur creatures that provide a potent food-source by producing “caviar” nonstop.

The Jelly, sweet-tasting eggs are also a delicacy among other races, and therefore they are often sold by travelling merchant Lorthass Drones.

Unable to chew solid food, the drones feed almost exclusively on the caviar of a Lorthass cow and seasnails, which makes the cows irreplaceable sources of nutrition in every Lorthas hive.

Fully grown (or transformed) Lorthass Patriarchs feel the urge to fertilize a Lorthass cow to make her give birth to batches of king-crabs. These small and kinda defenseless crabs have the potential to grow into a Lorthass King over the years.

The transformation into a Lorthass Cow is triggered by its proboscis-like tongue that is able to inject a highly-mutagenic poison into the victims throat.

Only a few minutes later, The infected person already starts to loose control over their hands, which quickly mutate into giant pincers. Next, the victim starts to loose control over its tongue, which quickly grows into a thick, drooling proboscis. Before turning into a taur, the internal reproduction organs of the victim become that of a Lorthass cow and start to produce caviar.
