Oh Sweet Jesus, the Book is Finally Out

What’s cooking, you bunch of entropic carbon units. 

It is with great, great pleasure that I can tell you the new book is finished and I still haven’t had that stroke yet. And, better still: the thing should be attached to this message for download, (the book, not the stroke) in mobi, epub, and PDF format. If you need another one – something exotic and technical – just let me know and I’ll see what I can do. 

It has been a….difficult month. I assumed the proofreading would take a few weeks at most. 

N…no.

Instead I noticed plot holes, spelling mistakes, and all out fucking typographical disasters that were difficult to look away from, much in the style of one observing some horrific accident on the street. 

What ensued was a mix of caffeine addiction and an education in what the word ‘recluse’ actually means. 

But it’s over. It’s finally, finally fucking over. And I just really hope you dig it. 

If you’d like to read it in epub form on your computer, you can do so using a free app called Readium. If you’d like to put it on your kindle, the mobi file is the best way to go. And for everything else: the PDF.

I hope you enjoyed today’s video also. (Or…the video several hours from when you are now, anyway.)

So, what’s new? I’ve literally been sat at a desk for the last month and crying into the keyboard. Have you been outside? What’s it like? Is the sun still there? If one had to write a top ten list of celestial objects, our sun would at least come in at a strong seven. Or a high six.

Anyway. What I’d really like to do now is just say cheers. There’s absolutely no way I could’ve found the time and resources to sit around for a few months trying to squeeze this book out if it wasn’t for you. (Which makes it all that much more worse if you hate the thing!) But really, that’s how it is. So, as always, much gratitude and love on my side, and I just wanted to remind you that your kindness is never forgotten. 

A designer is kindly working on the cover for the physical version of the book, and should be finished relatively soon. After that, it’ll be paperback time. (I feel that last line should’ve been expressed in some kind of superhero’s catchphrase, (("It's paperback time, motherfuckers!")) but I am unaware of a superhero who shouts things about books. There probably should be one, but he/she might be a touch dull.)

I’ve chatted to a few of you over Skype, but really haven’t made the effort I should’ve. If you don’t know it already, my moniker is, amazingly: exurb1a. I’m going to take a day off now and go do stuff. I should be around online. By all means reach out; it’d be cool to personally thank you for the support and exchange opinions regarding: hummus, Switzerland, Genghis Khan, pineapple on pizza, why ‘yacht’ is spelled like that, and any other strong positions you may hold.
