Had to laugh at the PSAs. I was 4 Halloween 1985 and parents hardly ever went out trick-or-treating with kids, just an older kid (11/12 maybe). Also there were so many houses that invited kids in bc they had a haunted house set-up or in one case, the old, big house on the corner, had hot apple cider and munchkins ๐ lots of PSAs but also lots of Boomer parents ๐ it was the Wild Wild West.
