Onwards and Upwards!
Added 2024-09-14 16:32:40 +0000 UTCHello everybody, I've had 3 days rest after the release of v0.3 and now I'm ready to start work again!
First I'm going to fix the bugs in v0.3, and then I'll work with Mai to build the tracker gallery. After that I can start drafting Day 4 and commissioning the artists etc... The cycle begins anew. I will keep you all updated with how things are progressing as I move forward. Please remember to be patient, I'm doing 98%+ of this on my own, and I'm working as hard and as often as I can!
A few side notes:
I THINK I'm going to make it so the bulk of the story of Maya's Mission is set over 5 days rather than 7, then have a courtroom style "Day 6" and a wrapup/ending on "Day 7". I've just re-played from the beginning of the game to the end of v0.3, and I've decided I don't want more than 5 days at Bluecorp stomping the game old grounds . On days 3/4/5 Phoenix will be leaving Bluecorp for part of the day, but I still think 5 days there will be enough. Gotta keep it fresh and interesting!
Day 4 will have a section where you get to play as Maya. :]
All tracker stuff is subject to a rework, I want to add sound, a notification if there's a tracker scene available that you haven't seen, and maybe some text, but it's gonna take a lot of work, so I can't really shoehorn it into an update easily. It will come in time though.

That's all for now, expect a Bugfix/Gallery release within the next couple of weeks, and I'll drop a poll soon too!

There will be some 1st person scenes with Maya where you can see exactly what's going on, but what's already been shown on the Tracker probably won't be expanded upon.

Wouldn't that ruin any mystery we have regarding as to how/why/what Mayas been up to?.. Thought that was the point of the teasing factor in the game. Well- maybe it's not a maya segment that includes that stuff or only hints it..
