(WIP) [ANIMATION] BLR "Background"

Alright. I think... that's the background. It ain't too involved I don't think. There's like, a weird moon in Soul Eater, and I thought about putting it in here. But... I didn't. I mean, clearly. But there are these weird glowing orbs on the trees. Those things are pretty cool. And I spent all this time learning how to paint clouds, only for them to be pretty obscured. Such is life. Oh well.

Not sure if I'm happy with it in general, it looks kinda off to me. I may go back and fiddle with it. But, I want to keep moving on this one. Ultimately, I think a background only sticks out if it looks really, really good, or really, really bad. I don't think I can hit the "Really good" category just yet, so I'm mostly concerned with staying out of the "Really bad" category. Though, since this is a Halloween piece, maybe I should add more Halloween elements to the background. Maybe fog? That would be easy to add. That's all I can think of, really. Maybe a big weird moon would be Halloweeny.

Anywho, that's all I can think of to say. I just tried to mirror this page like I mirror my canvas. For those of you who don't know, mirroring the canvas is a very common thing to do in digital art. It helps you see errors in your art. It's muscle memory for most. The fact that I tried to do it here means that I am tired. Or all that raw pork I've been eating lately has been infested with worms, who have now worked their way into my brain. one of those.
