Ha, I've done it! I've done it! I actually made my own background, for once! The "KYDE doesn't know how to make backgrounds" story arc is finally over. I know a lot of people thought it was overrated with a lot of filler episodes, but now we can finally move onto the "KYDE tries to get custody of the kids" story arc.

Perspective is rough, which is why it took me so long to make this. Included are some process pictures. It was a lot of dinking around. The one nice thing about perspective is that it's all rules and techniques, it's probably the most scientific aspect of art. As long as you know all that stuff, you can make some stuff.

It's definitely not perfect, in fact it's probably even be bad, but hopefully it's a start. I definitely want to be making cool backgrounds for these things. Now that I'm over the hump, I feel much more confident and can probably make backgrounds quicker and easier next time around.
