I'm guessing she'll either reclaim her divinity, or reach gold core, and get the next part at Avalon. I think that was the name of the place that Belle and the doll scouted out? If she reaches gold core now, I'd expect her to enroll as a teacher rather than as a student though.

Well, great job on getting away from the elders, but I'm guessing white-hot pain across the back isn't a great start to whatever the second test is. PS, slight style correction proposal: >>“What is your end goal in all this, Miss Jade?” he asked evenly.<< You suddenly open here with a "he" speaking, but you hadn't referred to anyone specific in advance. Nobody had been talking, nobody had stepped in front. It quickly is clear that it is one of the elders, but it makes for a weird opener because it comes without real context on who "he" is. I'd suggest replacing this first "he" and specifying who is talking.
