Tried something a bit more like a pin-up this time around. I know some of you have said you prefer those, so I hope you like this one! I can never get enough of these water nymphs lol. And painting moss, stones and sand by a riverside is deeply relaxing to me, so I had fun. π Will probably return to something with a bit more action in the next one. There's a chance I might want to paint the demon girl sketch I included here, but I might wanna do a few more sketches too, so we'll see!

Those of you keeping up with how my painting technique changes from picture to picture will probably notice I tried a different approach to the start of this painting compared to past ones. I usually sketch with fat lines and kinda blend them into the shading, but this time I refined the sketch with some loose thin lineart instead and used the lasso tool to fill in flat colors. I like that this allows very easy and clean selections which makes the process of adding the lighting a lot easier. It feels like a pretty good and relatively quick way to get through the early stages compared to some other approaches I've tried in the past. I'll have to try it some more.
I hope every single one of you is having a good November!
