Surgery Recovery

Hello Martifans old and new. I am home from surgery yesterday and things went pretty well in the hospital aside from them having to open me up more than they initially thought, but I have a vac-pac and a Jackson-Pratt drain in my leg, and am back at home. Unfortunately at some point I must have rubbed my left eye yesterday and scratched it cause it got unbearably sore and red around 3am last night and as of right now it's less sore but kinda gunky and my vision is a bit blurry compared to the other eye. In other news, while trying to empty about 50ml of fluid from my JP drain I accidentally disconnected the bulb and in a panic reconnected it without sterilizing the tube connection point. So I've just introduced the possibility of a nasty infection into the mix. So far I've not even been home for 24 hours and am already a mess. All of your support means the world to me while I'm struggling through this. Hopefully I can get my eye fixed and make it to drain removal day without getting sepsis. After I'm further along I'll take care of all the reward stuff, so hang in there. I can't get to my PC just yet but hopefully in a week or two I'll have these hoses out of my leg. I love you all.
