2-25-21 Progress Update
Added 2021-02-25 15:14:41 +0000 UTCThese dates should be no surprise to any of you who've been supporters for a while, so you should just take them as confirmation that we're confident enough with our current progress to feel that we can meet them. The v0.04 Update Release Dates:
- v0.04x - pre-alpha for "Prince" level supporters - 3/5/2021
- v0.04a - alpha for "Passholder" level supporters - 3/10/2021
- v0.04b - beta for "Park Guest" level supporters - 3/15/2021
- v0.04 - public release - 4/15/2021
- v0.04f - final bugfix release - ??
We added the last one because there always seems to be something that waits until the public version to reveal itself, so planning to do a bugfix update a few days later is just prudent. Now, if only our beta testers would start finding those things before the public version... (We're kidding of course. But not really.)
Anyway, the last scene's art is taking a while because it's connected to a sort of minigame, and we need to account for all the possible variations. We hope you'll be happy with the result! Now, the usual disclaimer applies: if for some reason we can't get it finished and adequately tested before March 5, it won't appear in the pre-alpha, but we guarantee it will be in for the beta build. And with these versions, you'll have no issue upgrading from one to the next. That's a worst case scenario, though, and everything that is done so far has been put in the game, so you'll have plenty of other content to play with.
March 5 is actually only a week from tomorrow, so let the countdown begin!
