Friday is here. Quick, grab some alcohol, its time to play Sims while merry.
So I had to rotate my releases around a bit, as I promised a release this week and I am now completely out of time until Monday- while the set I originally wanted to release just isnt done. I wanted you to have something to play with over weekend, so I swapped around this, which was supposed to be the theoretical sixth set, for what I was working on, as the two are similar under the hood, although this one is simpler.
As I mentioned before, I am getting into tuning(scripting) for Sims, which means this isnt just a clutter object, but a working thing- first of what I will call the "Practical Objects". These will work fully and wont need WW to use them.
This one has two caveats though, as its a bit rought around the edges- I couldnt quite figure out how to properly constrain the animation to the bowl (yet), so I had to improvise and lock the angle from which you can use it. The other thing that I couldnt quite expunge is that sometimes the Sim just plays a random animation ouf of nowhere, interrupting the eating animation, its rare, but it happens and I have no idea how to axe that particular problem.
Anyway this will very likely get updated later on down the line when I either figure it out myself, or get someone like Turbo to give me a hint. Regardless, have fun and next release coming on Wednesday-ish.
EDIT: First update is out, I fixed the loop so that it shouldnt get interrupted randomly anymore. Dont forget to delete the old package while updating.
Second update is done. I fixed the constraint. Now the sims will be angled according to the angle it approaches the bowl from. Latest version is [Kritical]workingPetBowl1c.

Hello, sorry, I dont have time to work on older stuff, unless its bugged and I need to fix it. Too much stuff to make, too little time to do so.

2020-07-17 04:57:44 +0000 UTCI hope it is not against plugging other modders but Colonel Nutty over on loverslab has some experimental feature in his Pets mod. Still wonky (as in: it is really experimental), but he seems to investigate to get this working though he might be equally prioritizing other features for his own mods before returning to that.

2020-05-23 15:56:53 +0000 UTCTBH it was the former that I was wistfully hoping for, but also TBH, I knew it wasn't likely to be on the cards...One of my biggest irritations with Sims 4 is that the sims are less able to interract with each other than earier versions of the game, they can't cuddle on a bed or dance together, even getting them to eat as a group can feel like a major achievement.

There arent many (if any) custom walk styles around, so I would say its probably either not possible or really hard. I even read Sacrifical´s post on a forum saying even he cant get it to work, although that was last year, so maybe things changed.
