It's so funny listening to this after she went nuclear on Armon. I hope he double downs on her now lmaooo. Cole gets away with it because it's more contained to smaller part and usually kept to hooks. Not to mention he doesn't use autotune heavy and he stays in his range. It's like nicki refuses to get lessons, stay in her range and stop using the autotune. Even on Coles track Fever, which has to be his most singing heavy track( definitely channeled his drake on it) does just enough to get the point across without it being overbearing and still catchy.

Yeah I do as well sometimes, but male rappers who sing usually use little to no auto-tune and they end up singing on songs that are bangers lol "Like a Star" by J.Cole is a great example of this. He sings a LOT on this song and he can't carry a tune to save his life but it's a great song and we hear his authentic voice. Nicki's voice is drowned by auto-tune and she sings over a whole lot of mid songs. But more power to her, the barbs seem to love it lol
