This is stated clearly at the time you sign up, it isn't even hidden in any "terms of service" or anything sneaky...it's literally right on your screen before you hit confirm (it tells you that you'll be charged that day and that you are charged on the 1st of every month). All Patrons across this platform are charged on the 1st of the month.
