WIP Diary: YCH for Bobert 2

Initially I just wanted to say "fuck it" and covered the whole thing in another layer of apoxie sculpt, but I realized that would make the resulting sculpture incredibly heavy, unbalanced, and just plain huge. So, I decided to hack and shear through the cured apoxie I'd already slathered onto it, and began cutting away a bunch of the expanded foam. After I'd cleared away a good chunk of my previous work, I began layering tin foil and regular sculpey over the exposed foam. As it turns out, that layer of tin foil was the missing piece from my previous attempt, it acts like an insulating barrier than prevents the foam from...foaming up. Funnily enough, I like this belly way more than the previous one, it looks way more organic and dynamic. All in all, I'm happy where this sculpt is at right now, and I'm looking forward to painting it!
